Mississauga to Host Lifeline Syria Sponsor Information Session

Mississauga – We are opening the doors of City Hall and inviting all residents to participate in a Lifeline Syria Sponsorship Session, Mayor Bonnie Crombie said today.

“We have all been moved and saddened by this ongoing tragedy,” Crombie said. “This information session will be an important opportunity for people to better understand how they can do their part to support the thousands of families fleeing violence.”

This initiative was proposed during Mayor Crombie’s Community Summit on Syria, held September 21, which brought together community, faith, and business leaders all committed to addressing the Syrian migrant crisis.

The public information session will led by Lifeline Syria. Donations to the Mississauga Fund will be accepted on site via the Lifeline Syria website. Lifeline Syria staff will be there to assist with the donation process.
