Mayor Crombie’s Easter Statement
“On behalf of the great City of Mississauga and Members of Council, I join with all residents to celebrate Easter.
“For Christians throughout Mississauga, and in communities around the world, the Easter season is the most solemn period of observance as Easter marks the resurrection of Jesus Christ, following his crucifixion on Good Friday.
“On this day, residents will gather with their faith communities; attend local church services; listen to scripture; and participate in the singing of hymns. May this be a period of thoughtful and enriching renewal of faith.
“For all Mississaugans the Easter and spring seasons represent a period of birth and new and exciting opportunities.
“My best wishes to all Mississauga families as they gather this Easter to make new and lasting memories together.”
