Congratulations to Frank Dale on his election as the new chair of the Region of Peel
Mississauga, ON – The following is a statement by Mississauga Mayor, Bonnie Crombie on the election of Frank Dale as the new Chair of the Region of Peel.
“It is with great pleasure that I welcome Frank Dale as the new Chair of the Region of Peel. Frank brings a great deal of experience and expertise to this position and I know that he will serve well our Council and the residents of Peel.
“Frank has served the residents of Mississauga admirably for over 30 years as the Ward 4 City Councillor. During his time on Council he has been a strong voice, both at the City of Mississauga and at the Region of Peel, overseeing the development of our City and in particular, our downtown core. Throughout his time on Council he has demonstrated a deep commitment to Mississauga and its residents.
“The Region of Peel will face some significant challenges over the next four years and it will be imperative that the new Chair have the ability to broker consensus and ensure the needs of each municipality are met. I am confident that as Chair, Frank will build this consensus and allow our Council to deliver results for the residents of the Region of Peel.
“On behalf of the residents of Mississauga, I want to congratulate Frank on his election and extend my best wishes for a successful term as Regional Chair.”
